 - if the problem is not related to the above bugs:

   file a bug-report (maybe attach your session file)

 - close ardour

 - backup the *.ardour session file

 - use a text-editor to remove the points (it's somewhat readable XML)

   directly from the .ardour session file

 - re-open ardour
