It seems to be a problem for some and not others. I checked on mine which
has been powered up sitting by the kick drum since it arrived a few weeks
ago. It's warmish to the touch, but hardly worryingly so. Much cooler than
most wall wart PSUs I've got.

Maybe the design's changed?
