[LAU] Recent Audio Problems

After recent upgrades, i.e. 3.2 kernels, Debian Sid, I have these problems
(use to work fine):

1. No line input to the on-board HDA-Intel audio card. Certainly not for pro-
audio, I have other devices for that, but this the main listening
device/monitor. The line/monitor out of the Lambda (run with jack) is hard-
connected to the HDA's line input. No sound.

This used to play. Software audio output plays fine, i.e from vlc. However:

2. Output from a browser (Chrome), i.e. from utube or other flash or any other
player invoked by browser and plugins, does not work. Used to.

Bugs? Fixes?
