I had a look at the query capabilities of OSC,
and I started writing a small program that queries a
certain client for all possible OSC paths
(terminal nodes). I see it as a first little study
for the program you want to make, but it might become
quite useful in it's own right.
Later I'll have a look at how to return type-signatures
and documentation as well.
You can get it here with git:
git clone git://gitorious.org/osc_query/osc_query.git osc_query
you can use it like this: ./osc_query -p [port]
And it should print out a list of paths for the app on that port.
It's just a start, but I hope you'll find it useful as an example...
