If there is no second person on the planet who understands and/or likes
a poem or a piece of music: that this is bad luck that can and should
not be changed by making pathetic attempts to fiddle for mass-appeal.
Every artist must decide, what his or her works should sound or look
like and everyone else is free to decide to like it or leave it. And if
I like something, I do not have a problem paying for it. If the
distribution is decent and the price acceptable.
And the most valuable resource I spare for music I like is not money but
time. I gladly pay the full price for a LP or CD if it only promises,
that it may be worth to spend the time it takes listening to it.
