Hmm... I am actually using Iceweasel 3.5.13. I assumed it would be the
same as firefox of the same version but I guess not. I just confirmed agai=

that seeking does work. So I guess try Iceweasel? Or maybe it's the
underlying OS? I am using Debian.

by way of lennart's blog, i came across this very instructive video:

h=
ttp://0pointer.de/blog/projects/video.html

xiph.org's head honch=
o monty deals with the basics of digital media. if all that signal theory t=
echnobabble has always freaked you out, here's a way to get your feet w=
et without too much discomfort.

Thanks for this. I am not able to =
see this (easily) because the arrow (move forward/backward) keys dont work =
in totem. So is there any tool other than totem to see webm files and/or to=
ols to convert webm format to something else?

Firefox 3.5 will play it in-browser withou=
t trouble seeking.JeremyIt did not work in firefox 3.5. I gathered fr=
om somewhere that 3.6 has better support.

So upgraded. No I see the slider but it does not slide !
