So if they say that mic can be switched to a line it is correct to assume

I just had a look at the manual for the AudioKontrol1. It does have a=
stereo input - one mono input 1/4" jack that can be switched
line/instrument and one Combi jack that can accept XLR or 1/4" jack
and can be switched mic/line.. All in all a very flexible solution!
