Loud Pipes Save Lives.
Hybrid and electric vehicles should be banned entirely from the roads,

until they have some sort of audible warning device fitted to warn

pedestrians (especially partially-sighted ones) of their approach.
There's a reason why the electric guided vehicles and forklifts in

factorys beep when they're moving.
