Here is one more. Bare with me, this is my last one about this topic.
With that brand new rt kernel I can listen Radio Paradise (alsa, Delta

66) and same time record that radio station from speakers by firewire

soundcard (jackd, ardour2, Audiofire4) and phantom microphone.

So maybe it is better cook yourself your own kernel package for Ubuntu
