I never got to hook my Continentals up to a scope to have a good look at th=
em but I agree the sines were not all that pure so a tri would be possibly =
closer to the original than a sine waveformed lookup table as used by Conni=
e. I might actually give this a test in bristol and see how its Vox sounds =
with them=2C it also uses similar lookup tables. It would not be that diffi=
cult to fill them with heavily RC filtered square waves=2C even testing wit=
h some different slew rates and see what effect that has.
Your comments on the drawbar effects are very interesting=2C I had never co=
nsidered the Vox to have damping as the Hammond did but I would definately =
believe it. Do you happen to know if the schematics were from a Mark-I Jenn=
ings design? I would be interested in modeling some of the resistor circuit=
s as well.

>=3B Looking at the schematics there is no evidence of any >=3B 'cl=
ick removal' action. Also the waveforms summed there>=3B (for 4'=2C8'=
and 16') would not be sinewaves. Each divider>=3B output has an RC l=
owpass filter before going to the mix>=3B bus. Assuming the dividers =
generate square waves=2C the>=3B smoothest waveform you can get would=
be a triangular one.>=3B What each of these RC filters does exactly =
will depend on>=3B the impedance it sees on the mix bus=2C and this i=
s a complex>=3B function of the drawbar positions (*all* of them for =
each>=3B bus=2C since they share the resistors) and the number of=
>=3B notes already on.Nice information. I never got to ho=
