So this could be an opportunity for some savvy marketing.
"ALSA usb-audio drivers are the defacto standard for proving usb

specifications compliance. If your usb device works with ALSA usb-audio

out of the box then you can be certain that it is compliant with the usb

specifications."
This might encourage more companies to develop and test with ALSA so

they can put the little "compliant" logo on their packaging.
