A number of people would like to see zynaddsubfx fixed, yes. But not

necessarily "instead".
I'm not aware of anything being done regarding the gui. Personally, I

experience it as torture. Starting from scratch would likely be the best

option to get to something reasonable.
Additions/improvements of Phasex would be great, of course :)
