I don't think that svg is the way to go for ardour. At least not in the sca=

le=20

it is done in KDE. There they try to do everything in svg and render on the=

fly. For ardour that would mean more cpu-cycles burned for gui which lowers=

=20

the power available for effects and io. And I want rather good effects (and=

=20

many effects) and fast io of many stream then a scaling gui that displays=20

shiny things...
