I'll add an "Amen!" to that. The new GUI for Mammut is impressive, I'd
love to see more Linux audio apps use the JUCE framework.

Re: needing/wanting VST for Linux : Some folks do, some don't, some
will, some won't. I say it's better to have it than not, and I have no
objection to the existence of JOST or any other such utility. If the
developers want to work on their project without engaging in other
similar projects, that's their prerogative. If nothing else, maybe it
will kick some similar projects into a higher gear. A little competition
here won't necessarily hurt.
