[linux-audio-user] RMS and peak levels: meters

What apps can I use to gauge (meter) audio RMS and peak levels? I need yo know
exactly the average of peak levels, and the RMS loudness of an audio file.

As instance, suppose I want to master my song at a similar RMS level as
another audio file has.

What should I use?
