< Sorry for toppost but it's quick. If you don't care about imposed hipness,
< "make xconfig" instead of "make menuconfig" does give those new to custom
< kernels a better overall picture since all help notes are shown by default
< and tree view allows checking ahrad with somewhat less hassle.
